Dr. Benotti is an environmental chemist with more than 15 years of experience in projects related to the occurrence, fate, transport and source attribution of chemicals in the environment. He has worked on behalf of both industrial and government clients, developing analytical methodologies and interpreting environmental data, for the purposes of understanding the impacts of wastewater discharge, industrial activities, oil spills, or other anthropogenic activities on the environment. He has published many peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and reports. Dr. Benotti holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross and a Ph.D., in Coastal Oceanography from Stony Brook University.
