Kate Emma is a project manager in the NHDES Hazardous Waste Remediation Bureau (HWRB) and a member of the NHDES PFAS Coordination Team. Kate Emma currently manages investigation and response actions for several PFAS contaminated sites that include industrial air emission sources and former AFFF/Class B foam releases. Prior to joining the NHDES in 2016, Kate Emma worked in private consulting for 15 years, where her experience included site investigation and brownfields cleanup and redevelopment for the public and private sectors. Kate Emma receiveda BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont and is a registered professional engineer in New Hampshire.
