In-Situ Particle Size Distribution Testing Using Cascade Impactors.
This presentation looks at the use of in-situ cascade impactors to provide particle size distribution data used for compliance determinations, air pollution equipment diagnostics and design, and process optimization. Examples of the equipment and actual graphical test results from several types of sources and applications are presented. The ability to use impactors in wet gas streams to evaluate water droplet carryover and plume simulation are also demonstrated.
